I agree,he is big enough for them,I know you were worried because he seemed weaker than he should,Ive had one do that and end up sick but yours looks good and should be great if he will keep eating.I really like yours,now I want it,lol.

I'm going to the herp store after lunch to get crickets for the geckos and food for the other snakes.

feed it anyways.Sometimes they slow way down in the winter so let him fill up now.Just dont go nuts and power feed or anything.

argh, I screwed up.

the leucistic rat snake refused the small pre-killed mouse I gave it, so I offered it to the pastel, he grabbed it, constricted it for a few minutes, then just let it go and didn't do anything with it.

So I put it in the leucy rats viv, and it ate it afterall.

So I decided not to give the pastel the pinkie rat since it may not be hungry. I'll give it on in 5 days though.

Maybe, but that doesn't make you cool.

The normal BP and the MBK do okay with being taken out of their vivs for feeding, but the other two seem to be morans.

when my snakes constrict but don't eat..i leave the rat with them and its never there the next day. i would also offer larger prey items..pinkies really don't have much nutrition in them. rat hoppers or medium adult mice would really get the little guy going.

the hoppers just look way to big for ball pythons this young, they are '08's mighty.

It probably just didn't get it right or got distracted away from it. Always let them try again. Looking at it, he'll be fine. If he's hydrated and keeps his interest for food and has no other problems, no need to worry, just enjoy watching him get bigger.
