hey there, i'm gonna be getting in 2 walleyes and was just wondering if it would be possible to get them to eat shrimp or fillet pieces will be starting them on worms but would like to switch to frozen if it could be done let me know what you guys think thanks

Walleye should accept frozen krill

Walleye are a scavenger fish and are lazy in the wild(when large). Any type of food should work well nightcrawlers, minnows and pretty much anything they can fit in their mouth. They are very agressive when young though. In hatcheries they have to stauk them when they are real small or they will bite the walleye tale in front of them forming long chains and can be canibles.

i used to have a young walleye and he devestated minnow schools, but only after u turn the lights out. i wish i still had him, but the tank shattered and he went into the pond

i dont really know because the pond is a huge pond. he was healthy when he went in and its full of fatheads. i would like to catch him but dont try often as i would like to because i live an hour away from my parents pond. i bet hes doin good

Whered u get it
