feeding walmart earthworms

earthworms are actually a great food
 
yeah, walmart earthworms are a big part of my bichirs diets, i usually chop them up into half inch peices for my bichirs though
 
just cause the worms are from walmart doesn't mean they are bad lol.
 
walmart here doesn't sell earth worms. I went there the other day and asked the lady in the fishing/hunting department and she looked at me like I was some purple monster from mars or something lol
 
I have used them from other stores as well, but at first I read your title and I was like... so do we drive by and throw them at the store... I mean really how do you feed a store earthwarms... but when we were little we punished my brother by making him eating them... I was about to spend 100 dollars on them to punish walmart...lol

When I feed my fish earthworms from walmart, I rinse the worms, and I try to get as much of the mud out of them as I can.

I know this is gross, but that's the nature of the beast; rinsing the worms in cold water seems to give them diahrrhea, and they will defecate all over your hands.

Keep rinsing that off, then when that stops, I hold firmly from the head area, and try to press out the remainding mud inside the worm.
