I prefer red worms. You don't have to chop them up and they're easy to raise in a peat and paper bed with some food.....
sure i feed my senegal them i like walmarts worms there you can get 36 for $2 at petsmart you can get 24 for $4
that "diarrhea" from the worms is part of their defence. it's good you rinse that out as it can pollute your tank. Worms are great for packing on weight for the bichirs.
