feeding wrigglers.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You don't have to feed wrigglers, not until they are free swimming fyrs. The easiest thing to feed for the first two months is crushed flakes. You could also smash some of your pellets with a hammer and feed that.

I would go with crushed flakes because its easy for them to eat when it gets wet. I wouldnt do the crushed pellets because it seems hard for them to eat and when they do they only eat a little. Crushed flakes are the best food to feed fry and wont cost you much. Either that or baby brine shrimp.

Baby Brine Shrimp and finely pinched Omega one color flakes. Mix a little water so it all sinks some. Increase food type as they get older. IMO, try to hand feed from time to time. I find the fish are more owner responsive when you do this. Fish farms don't and I think it makes for shy fish.

ok thanks everyone. im gunna pop down the LFS today and get some baby brine shrimp and flakes.

ok well i was just having a rummage around and found some Tetra baby fish food. it sais "for all baby fish"
