You need to get them off of the feeders to fix this problem. The feeders, are one nutritionally void, unless you are feeding them a good diet. Two, they will present many problems with parasites. There is no need to have them on feeders. Hikari cichlid gold pellets work well for aros.
hey thanks dude
i shall get those today and shall try feeding him those pellets
but i am doubtful of getting hikari

ok so there is no problem with the way he eats
and it is normal for him to eat so much

why do you need feeders

you can use meal worms night crawers crickets ghost shrimp

their are lots of other foods apart from feeders

just starve the aro and just feed it what you want it to eat i have a rule in my tank EAT OR DIE it would be a dumb fish that staves to death

i do feed it earthworms once ina while but i have to get them myself from my garden and i even tried getting hikari pellets but i didn't get them in any of the lfs in my city (that sucks) :irked:
thats the reason i have to go feeder fishing every month
lets see if at least i can get those azoo's arowana sticks

Try purchasing online. All of my aros have taken to azoo's arowana sticks here, the hikari gold pellets, or krill. I generally feed a mix of those three plus several other foods. If you want to help things along, you can use Seachem's Entice to help coax the fish into eating.

With most people, when they get feeders the fish is not fed a good diet. Because of this, the predator that eats them is eating a fish that has very little nutritionally because of the lack of nutrients that it has ingested. If feeders are fed a good diet, then the predator will get good nutrients. Unfortunately, that isn't too common.

hey now i have a worm bin and i feed them earth worms but sometimes i would want them to have a fish or two
