if u can, you should try getting them on a nice pellet.. like hikari food sticks..

then u can "treat" them once in a while with shrimp, beefheart, fish fillets, or live if u really want..

I've got a problem. I've been feeding my 4 RBP's frozen smelt for the past month or two but not that don't seem to be eating it. Have they gotten bored of it? Should I try mixing some shrimp or worms into the diet as well?

Shrimp and worms are both VERY healthy for them. Are they getting bullied or do they just not seem to want it?

If they don't want it try worms or shrimp for sure.

My RB's got market shrimp every other day. Pellets every day (was there main staple). Took awhile to get them off live, but stravation lead them to the pellets. Occational live treats every couple of weeks.

I feed them shrimp before, now i feed them fish from the market, I dont know what their called but their white flesh just like the tilapia. I feed them every other day.
