BAby brine shrimp really gets the fish off to a good start.......When the fish start coloring, then start feeding the fry crushed flaked food and crushed pellet...............Seeing the picture above should ensure you that the fish are ready for solid food..................

they r about half an inch long and two months old.. they started on algae pellets when real tiny.. then they stuffed their little mouths with blood worms when i fed parents so switched to that.. getting brine shrimp and pellet food today thanx a bunch

wow i didnt know water changes made them grow faster lol.. ok will do! what about chlorine remover? i usually only do 25 perc once a week so i dont bother.. but with more w/c should i worry about it? ty :)

If there is chlorine in your water, you should use the chlorine remover regardless of how much water you change. It is toxic for your fish and will eventually kill them if you don't use it. If you are worried about the cost, look to buy in powder form online. It may seem expensive at first, but it will treat thousands of gallons of water. Much better than dropping $10 every other week with smaller bottles.
