Have been reading small stories where fei fengs sometimes kill other fish by taking their slime coat? Not sure thats why I am asking? Also have heard they make good vacuums. They eat poop and other crud off the bottom, right? Dos/donts. Pros/cons

My fei feng are great. I have never seen them attack any of my fish.

I have also heard that they tend to kill eachother when kept in groups, however I know of a group of 6 that are all 12 inches + that get along fine. This group also never attacks any other fish.

I would never risk them with rays though as I can see a potential danger.

Why with rays? What about with an FRT?

A LFS near me has a foot long one with all kinds of fish. severums, clown knives, a dat, various catfish, oscars.....Its never caused a problem that I know of....I'm tempted to buy it:)

If kept together they need several or they fight, I have heard of them sucking slime coats on large knifefish as well.

Ive tried to keep 3 of them together about 5-6 inches and eventually ended up with one. I think they need large groups, because i think in the wild they are schooling fish. I have never seen mine suck on another fish. I like them because they will clean the hell out of your tank. ;)

I'm also planning to get some to add to my community tank, What are they're prices for fei fengs at 3-4" ones??

Great algae remover . But aggressive towards other each other and i have heard a lot of stories of their big aros and rays dying from the fei fengs eating the slime off.

I've seen and heard many problems between prochilodus and rays but haven't seen or heard anything abou arowana. Having prochilodus is like having a pretty pleco with a hypertension disorder.
