Sure they do, till they 5'' or so and they decide that their schoolmates have to die. Anytime Ive kept a pair one kills the other. They grow much faster solo anyways. I do agree that they are the best algae eaters around and just look nice. I have one in almost all my tanks

there's your mistake there. I said get a school of them. I didn't say get a "pair" of them for a specific reason.....

I'd go with about 5 or 6.

You might get away with three if your lucky but with 5 or 6 you'll spread aggression out and will probably be fine.........
