I have read around that this may not be a great combo.

They like to suck on the ray's back.

Does anyone have any experiences with this ??

thx beN

I would not do it ben. It might work for 2 weeks, 2 months or 12 months but eventually it will get a taste of the stingrays disc and in a matter of hours your stingrays disc will be badly damaged. NOT worth the risk IMO. The only way that people are keeping them with stingrays is the flagtail has not noticed the stingray yet.

Together for over a year-no prob's

He is well fed, eating everthing that hits substrate!

I have always had a hard time understanding how a ray would just sit there while another fish sucked the skin off it's back! I would almost have to see it to believe it!

i'm keeping FF with my rays, yeah..on and off he will be sucking on the rays.but it do that due to hunger. if well fed, it will leave the ray alone. if it started to suck the ray, i'll move him to another tank, and after 1 month or so, move him back to that tank for cleaning services ..:)

It's either one of the other that die... so far the score is rays killed 5, FF killed 1. I've stopped trying. Suckerfish seem to be slightly less risky as cleaners.

LG,
but at the moment, nothing beats the efficiency of FF other than of scraping the algae yourself that is..
