I done this mix for about 5 years with mixed results
I fount my 14 inch flag would only suck on the black rays it would home in on one spot and suck in the same spot
Every time I saw my flag suck on the ray I used to bang on tank glass or chase the flag with a chop stick after some time the flag learn that if he suck something bad will happen to him
In the end I got bored of this so sold the flag
You may get lucky as the one I chased with a chop stick did not suck for 2 years before it started but I tryed another one and it suck on the 1st day
It's just to risky and not worth the hassle
