Yep. The plumbing under the tank is going to hold 6.7 gallons of water. The weight of the water and piping will weigh approximately 90.7 pounds. The bulkheads don't have enough Factor of Safety calculated into them to support that kind of weight. I'm confident that they will hold the weight in the short term but there will be little back up strength when the unforseen happens. Additionally, unsupported plumbing will put uneven pressure on the bulkhead seals when the piping flexes. That couldn't be good when there is six feet of water above them.
My original guess was that the volume of the plumbing was going to be around ten gallons, with a weight range of 70-100 pounds for just the water. We didn't discuss the weight of the plumbing, but the weight of the water alone was enough to confirm the need for the strapping. We will install that after all the plumbing is done.
Btw, notice how clean the pipe work looks while we were doing the mock up fitting.

We had to do a lot of cutting and refitting when we realized that the supports were in the way. We took a vote and determined that it was my fault for not thinking of it before hand.
