When you guys resume filling that monster I would not be suprized if the water company showed up. With a haz mat team looking for a leak. (excuse me sir, we noticed that this house has used 15 thousand gallons of water today and we think there maybe a water main broken on your property.)

that's what this beast would cost if it were on my city water grid...

A weekly water change of 33% would cost me $668.45 ...

Here's some water action for ya.


There are 3 streams in this pic. The two larger ones are the pump. The smaller one is the new water. Also, out of the pic to the left are two more lines feeding in water.


You can see those other two lines in the pic below. This pic is just water going in. no pumps running.

I'm not sure how you are putting water in the tank. But here in Indy, you can rent a meter from the water company and pump water directly from a fire hydrant. You can fill that tank for about $100 in water. It is a lot cheaper if you use their meter.
