Female cuban in her aggressive mode

Very Nice fish. One of my (many) favorites.

Does she have a chance against Grammodes? The Grammodes I have kept were meaner than heck.

I guess size matters but on the flip-side, I have a Cuban that was super chill.

They are about equally aggressive and respect each other space.

Cubans that I have had kept would rip apart a equal or larger fish, My male would attempt to kill anything, but fish that pose no threat, but same size or bigger? it was on. My Grammodes was incredibly fast, using the speed zones in attack mode, but was smart enuff to stay the hell out of the Cubans way. Size Matters, but this is not the UFC, Just use that rule/suggestion if you keep the 2. But don't discount a Cuban, Grammys are Psycho, but they are also very, very smart, if they feel they can not dominate, they will keep their distance. IMHO

My male (8") killed a breeding male Mota (11"+), with so much speed, my buddy did not even notice it in time. Sad really.

Yeah, there are some really aggressive cubans out there. How are u doing Nuth?

how big is she? I just got five at a auction and kept 1. Mine is only 1" right now. I just want to grow him out and then sell him when he starts killing stuff.

She is about 8".

Amazing cuban. Her colors are very well defined. Cubans are definitely one of my favorite cichlids.

Doing Well Buddy, Lost my Female to the Male discussed above, Sad really, as they were paired for 3 years, she just stopped producing, and then it was it. He was Psycho Fast.....Hows it goin' out there? I'm redoing the GenPop Tank, this time with more Parachromis.....(Like you SoCal folks have showed us Mid-West Boys!) Again, sorry for the Derail my Brother!
