I've always thought about how many [young] females won't reveal their gender, seeing comments the guys commonly make.
Hate to inform males, but there is no way that our numbers are actually this low on forum.
Ah well, catch granny on a bad day & see what fems really think.
Sorry guys, but young women are turned off & turned away. older ones just wanna slap ya'all upside the head.

i just sent in a request to the mods to change your name, how about Thread_Spoiler. are you seriously ranting about a lounge joke (that was backed up by proof, not gonna waste my time hunting down other quotes)? pm me if you've got an issue, threads been derailed enough

ps, no guy is actively seeking female fish keepers, we don't care enough. it's just a cool side fact, not something that defines you on these forums. the minute you started showing up in the lounge most of us thought you were a guy anyways

I don't have an issue. personally not effected. I specified young females.
Simple thing: consideration of mixed company.
Didn't say guys were "seeking" female fish keepers. just disparity between the actual ratio & openly participating female forum numbers.
Being female "isn't something that defines" us on forums: Do Tell what's essential about ourselves. LOL.
Me in lounge: Didn't see any Mens' sign. members are initially "thought to be guys" everywhere on forum. I was no exception, and knew it.

im a female and this thread got wayyyy off track. I thought we were celebrating being bad ass female aquatic hobbyist.... Ignore any negative and only comment on the positive... :) by the way, i got a beauty of a rafael cat this weekend.. he is little but cute as hell.
 
I /tried/ to keep it on track at first! I stopped giving a flip when no one commented on my stock list. ;) Good luck with the raphael, take good care of it and give it plenty of space and it will get upwards of 8", like this lady camping out in the 300 gallon:
