Female future monster?

Hey everyone. Just swapped my young Channa micro (stupid drunken Internet buy lol) for an umbee, not an expert at venting sa but if it were an amphilophus I would say male....? I've read if there is black in the dorsal and lower fins it's almost definitely a female?
Would prefer it to be female...

It's about 4 inch BTW, came from a guy who rarely does wc for months at a time. He said it's 2yrs old! No wonder she hasn't grown lol, probably stunted pretty good!

Months at a time!? Wow that's gotta look and smell nice. Anyways ir does look female especially so if she's 2yrs old.
 
right its not 2yrs old, I got mixed up on my messages lol... so scrub that! she came from andywoods pair shown in this video last year.... really hoping she turns out like his female as she is a beaut!!!
