Can't remember exactly, earlier on this year spring summer time.
When settled it will grow. Faster if no other fish are chasing or bullying it.
My male didn't come of age till 10inch now its growing into a " future monster " he's now 13inch and growing fast.

Should be fine in my tank, there are others of similar size that are fin perfect... She was in with a 2ft black shark and an 8inch red tail catfish, somehow she survived! I personally prefer the look of female umbee, when they have the nice yellow Base colour they look awesome!-)

This is the mother, she's 10inch and sorts her fella out.
