ya i def wanted to try the texas but i think the fh would produce more color and size

well i dont think a flowerhorn will tolerate a female not being well.. a fh.

well keep us posted on which species you pick but i suggest texas if not tex then try fh. make sure the tank is empty except the two fish.

That's new to me then. I've heard of a con x firemouth cross but never any of those listed. I'd like to see some pics of those crosses if anyone has any

it happens, not uncommon either. most of the time they arent the most colorful though.

if i had a spare female con i would try to make jack dempsey x convict, those tend to turn out pretty attractive.
