I don't think the remarks replied are towards his purchase of the ray. Its a nice ray. I think the responses are towards diggin, he is the one that claims his fish are grade AAA BD and superior to the "other vendors BD" or any other seller on here according to him. I for one would like to know how he knows the "other vendors" rays are Leopoldi and not BD. He can see it a mile away so he claims. Hey diggin since you can see so clear please explain to all of us that don't know about rays how the other rays are leos and yours are grade AAA BDS.

Like I stated before, I would buy from diggin in a heart beat before several vendors or sellers on this board or others.

that comment was aimed at a particualar person who imports rays from overseas and knowingly try's selling them to people as something they are not.they dont have the parents and are basing their information 3rd hand.if i were intrested in something you are selling, could you provide the pictures of the parents to someone who wanted them?like i said "i think" i can spot the diffrence. obviously its my OPINION. i am not an expert by far. i would say with out a doubt that csx has the most experince and i will never reach his level of knowledge.like one of posters mentioned, if you like the ray, buy it! merry christmas!
 
The best evidence for the uselessness of the "AAA" designation is that you NEVER see anyone describe or sell their rays as A or AA or, god forbid, B.

That being said, sweet ray. Congratulations. Wish I had the BD bucks right now.
 
If you know that its not AAA, then you shouldn't be bothered by what others think all you would have to do is show a better looking ray to prove your point...

What everyone seems to not understand is BD pups get better with generations of captive breeding. Look at all wild caught BD producing nice pups some are great yeah but all the REAL AAA quality BD or what ever you people call them now with 6 rows of spots and a ring around the anus in order for it to be a REAL BD is just making me laugh now a days. It is just not accurate and only makes things more confusing. The more generations that are captive bred the better the quality the rays are becoming.

Also all this talk about bd/leo and bd I have seen nice wild caught bd produce pure looking pups and some that lose there outing 6,7,8,9,10 and whatever the hell you want to call em rows and even the anus row lol and are they not bd? says who? the parents were bd.

everyone needs to realize unless you have bred hundreds of pups then you are just taking an uneducated theory and spreading it around the internet and wasting your time and many other fish keepers time.

Now i will go back into my isolation from MFK and all the experts opinions for awhile and just sit back and laugh at half the threads on here.

By the way you have a great quality BD pup from wild caught parents.
