I saw Lacuna a couple years ago and wasn't very impressed. Kind of felt they were a studio band as the sound sucked. Had a friend drag me to Arch Enemy and was blown away by their singer. The band was good, Angela held her own and it was a pretty damn good show. I actually plan to see them again later this month.

I just listened to the Epica song. Until now I have never heard of them. I usually like harder stuff, but dang that is some unique, great music. I already downloaded the CD off itunes.
 
I CAN"T BELIEVE NOBODY SAID L7 , one of the best, if not the best punk/metal girl bands.

lead singer of epica also sang in kamelots song the haughting check it out on youtube

if you like harder stuff and you liked epica check out Tristinia or Tragim(lead singer is hot as hell and sounds like angela gossow

and princess im sorry but amy lee is nothing compared to cristina scabbia or the lead singer of within temptation

oh ya not metal but i have a weekness with hot girls in catholic school girl out fits, the bass player from mindless sel indulgence is hot and so is the lead singer of birthday massacre
