Many of us know flubendazole as a de-wormer for fish, but I had never heard of a similar medicine, fenbendazole, being used as an anti-cancer medicine. I'm not a doctor or a scientist so I don't know if the claims are true, but according to this guy who had terminal cancer it completely rid his body of the dreaded disease.

I don't really know the difference between fenbendazole and flubendazole but it's interesting nonetheless.

I also found this, which elucidates the science behind it better: https://www.cancertreatmentsresearch.com/fenbendazole/

Having lost family members to the dreaded disease, it would be pretty amazing if it really works... also if its also confirmed to work, i wonder if the price for this dog medicine will go up... since its what i give my dog every 3 months due to feeding him a raw diet...

In fact both flubendazole and fenbendazole are researched in cancer. Not long ago I read about flubendazole being known to reduce cancer tumors. I find flubendazole an excellent fish dewormer...

The FDA approved flubendazole, has been widely used in the treatment of intestinal parasites. Here, we demonstrated a novel effect of flubendazole on breast CS-like cells. Flubendazole inhibited breast cancer cells proliferation in dose- and time-dependent manner and delayed tumor growth in xenograft models by intraperitoneal injection.

Don't take it over the counter like this person did for Lyme disease. Wait for them to determine the proper dosage.

Anecdotal evidence on fenbendazole on fish also points to side effects.
Flubendazole is safe as far as fish are concerned.

It seems there are positive studies done on a few of these meds in the same family.

Here is on mebendazole...

Mebendazole, a well-known anti-helminthic drug in wide clinical use, has anti-cancer properties that have been elucidated in a broad range of pre-clinical studies across a number of different cancer types. Significantly, there are also two case reports of anti-cancer activity in humans.

Mebendazole (MBZ) is a broad-spectrum benzimidazole anti-helminthic drug, in the same class as albendazole, flubendazole, oxfendazole, and other

Based on the evidence summarised in Table 1, it is our contention that human clinical trials of mebendazole in a range of cancer types is warranted. The known pharmacokinetics, relatively low toxicity (even with extended high-dosing protocols), low cost, and strong pre-clinical evidence make this an ideal candidate for re-purposing. Currently, there are only two early phase clinical trials getting under way, both in glioma. In addition to these, the evidence suggests that candidate cancer types to take to human trial include:

  • melanoma,
  • non-small cell lung cancer,
  • adrenocortical cancer, and
  • colon cancer.

Hmm with all of these studies and anecdotal evidence you'd think there would be more attention given to these possible cures -- why aren't big pharma all over these as cancer cures -- not enough profit?

More importantly the big pharma already have their so called “cancer cures” which they are making big bucks off, coz they own the rights / trademark to the meds, which they then get their sales reps to sell it to Drs asking them to only use their only their brands for discounts...

So now that someone has come along and is saying animal de-worming pills that cost a few bucks a pop over the counter could heal cancer is bound to scare big pharma companies who’s charging thousands or more on just one round of treatment...

He was receiving many other treatments including an undescribed clinical trial so it would be very wrong to say this is conclusive in any way.

No one is basing it on one case alone, infact some of the links have stated there are other cases of this happening and there is at least 1 journal i think said to be published on the possibility this may kill off certain cancers, which scientists are now looking into...

Imo, its time people looked into alternatives to treating cancer other than resorting to chemo, especially now that there are more and more studies being produced regarding alternative meds such as CBD / Vitamin C treatments etc... may sound all a bit happy go lucky / hippie in style, but if it works and has less side effects im all for it! Especially if it costs hundreds of times less than traditional chemo which basically kills you in the process anyway...

P.S sorry for the rant, but just seen chemo fail way too many times for me to believe its the best and only way to treat this disease...
