hey guys,

I've been wanting to keep a marine tank for a long time now but dreaded the thought of how much work it requires. I'm now gradually moving towards having a marine tank.

Now what I wanna know is should I try my hand at having a small marine tank say a 20 or a 40 gal. one or do I go straight go for a 90 ?

thanks,

nishant.

It doesn't take alot of time to maintain a saltwater system but it is usally daily. If your goal is a 90 then start with the 90 that way your not spending money twice. Not all gadgets rated for smaller gal tanks are gonna be usable in larger systems.

go with the 90. And a marine set up is really pretty easy to take care of. If you set it up right maintenance should be minimal just routine feedings and a 10% water change once a week.

+ 1 on the 90,bigger is easier and more forgiving. I dont think the work required outweighs the enjoyment of the tank.
