Do you think if you kept that RD in your home aquarium, it would lose some of it's redness after a while?

Yeah, I kept him for about a year after that. Rambo stayed this color the whole year, though the tank did get natural sunlight and I did feed a lot of the red swamp crayfish (high in carotene). I feel that those two things will really bring out the reds.

Most are a lighter red, Rambo was just special. Damn airline wouldn't let me fly him to the mainland with me when I moved.

It's a barred Amp. mutt. Probably cit X lab like all the others.

Awesome pics. What I would give to be able to go fishing and catch those.

Then again, it's probably a good thing I can't. I'd want to keep them all, and would eventually end up with more fish tanks than living space at home.
