I have read and heard that about them but I haven't kept any so I really cant speak on them.
Hemibagrus wyckii is worse than wolf fish. They'll kill anything you put in their tank and bite your hand when you clean.
in attitude? they might be worse, but not a single catfish species can inflict as much damage as a large and angry wolf can. the latter has some insane dentation
Im pretty sure aba aba knife can inflict more damage than a wolf. They're crazy aggressive and take chunks outta tankmates and have even been reported to take off fingers!

kinda like comparing pitbull and border collie.
and taking off fingers is nothing, natives report that anjumaras eat primates and even dogs sometimes since they are known to hunt in shallow waters
Personally my 2 most aggressive species I have ever kept were breeding convicts and an Asian red tail catfish.
you can keep smaller hoplias, they are same as anjumara anatomically speaking, but anjumara can get up to 40 kg(88 lbs) and would require either a pond or some sort of massive 2000 gallon tank
