Honestly who in the hell wouldn't lol but lets be real one car is 50-75k and the other is over 250-300k new and the vette can keep up with all these
200K+ supercars for a fraction of the price.

Yeah, but Corvettes are like corn-holes, everybody has one!

...and IMO they all stink! LOL!

Not everybody can get a Ferrari.

Very true there is a 2-3 year waiting list for a new one and they run 25k over sticker price at the moment. And a used one is going for sticker lol plus you have to had owned a ferrari to even get on a waiting list for a new one

Speed verse style and elegance. I know which one I'd pick when there's such an expansive gap between how much attention people pay to a Corvette, and how much they pay to a Ferrari. If we want to talk about track speed I can always start throwing around the names of some faster Europeans, if you'd like. Corvettes aren't very popular outside of the US for good reason.

Also agree with the others that the 355 and 348 for that matter will be timeless classics.

Wow, and I thought it was the Ford GT that smacked around the Ferrari during Le Mans until Europeans got mad and disqualified them for a headlight or something. Guess Enzo couldn't handle the competition:naughty:.

Oh, and there was always the rumor that the Europeans were using small block 350s as their engine.

I'm not saying Ferrari isn't awesome, holy cow right, but the US deserves some credit.

For whoever said the F40 was one of the greatest ferrari's ever built you are very right sir! Glad to see the predictions of this thread were wrong but this is about ferrari's and I am sorry I brought up the vette statement because that triggered the off topic run lol.

For the person who asked how much the testarossa runs for in between 60,000-80,000 we picked this one up for 78,000 mint though and only has 23,000 original miles. The
F430 is a slug when it comes to ferrari the platform was nice but they went to far of performance and went more towards perception of the vehicle. The car has fantastic handling so I've heard but it was intended to out compete the F40 which still has to be done and I don't think anytime soon. Now the 599 GTB is when Ferrari finally stepped up there game again and were back in business. F40 competitor by far though not as track ready.

Anyone with ferrari's??

I am picking a 328 GTS hopefully from one of my families close friends for 31,000 but it's either that or I start up my Aquarium shop. Still have to save up for another 2 or 3 years though.

Cross, are you going to have that black beauty at the Ferrari meet in Hartford on Father's Day?

No but we have had it at the Hartford Civic center at a car show once before along with our 1970 AMX there as well.

Your pricing is way off, A new F430 sticker price for base model is 200,000.
A good friend just purchased a use 2007 F430 for 225,000 and that was the original sticker price for car. They are not 136,000 You can't even get a porsche turbo for uner 140,000

here is link to some prices http://www.automotive.com/new-cars/pricing/01/ferrari/index.html

I wasn't too far off, the base model is 178 and the F1 is 184. When you have that much money 40k is just pocket change.

Im not really a car enthusiast, so I don't really know. Kelly Bluebook says 29g's though....

But maybe because it has had one owner and only 21,000 miles???

Um, I'm gonna say BS as well.

1) Kelly Blue Book only goes back 20 years.

2) There is no way, unless it was some limited edition collecter's model, that a
37 year old truck would be worth as much as a brand new one.

This is as close I am getting to owning one.
