Ferrets! (They're exotic pets!!!)

We used to have ferrets when i was little. I was under the impression that their smell came from the scent glands... I would love to have them again. I remember i finished cleaning their cage, changing the water dispenser, and refilling the food dish. Every time i let them out after that to play, they would bee line it right to my bathroom, climb up a roll of carpet we had leaned against our utili-tub, and started drinking the water in the bottom of the sink... After two days of this i checked and the little metal ball in the water bottle was jammed. They are very intelligent and hilarious little critters...
No but I want 2. When I go to petland I always play with them. Thought about letting a few climb into my jacket and walking out 
I hate the things! I still have one because she-who-must-be-obeyed loves them. It is kind of entertaining watching him walk around and mess with stuff all over the house, though.
We have two that live outside in a converted 10x12 chicken coop. Sooo much fun to watch and play with.
I miss my ferret, there was a pair for free on CL the other day, came with one of the bigger multilevel cages, but I was too late

I use to have one and every single morning before work id look high and low for my shoes and couldnt find them nowhere, finally i found her hiding spot. Every night before i went to bed id give her a couple hours to run around and play before locking her up for bed well in those hours she was stealing all the shoes and hiding them underneath the bed lol.
