Some cameras have an option to turn up the saturation. On my sony cybershot if I select "vivid" shooting mode I can get this effect automatically

I got him from local member not long ago.

Saturation is the secret to making photos really "pop". No matter what the subject is. Of course, if you overdo it it's pretty obvious. I like 10-15%.

I usually don't touch the saturation as my monitor is not calibrated and afraid I might over.
