I have heard people say there bonded pair of festae kill eachother. And a lot need dividers to prevent this. But then i see a lot of videos where they are living and breeding perfectly fine together. Is it very often they need to be seperated or only once in awhile. I'm looking to form a pair from 7 1-2"ers and then add them to a 300 with an ornatum pair.

I guess my question is is it more common to have festae's that kill eachother or live peacefully, taking into consideration they will be in a 300 with pair of ornatum and many convicts as dithers..

Just look at your neighbors down the street. Some of them sit outside on swings together holding hands, while you could always hear the others yelling and punching walls.

And I would ask those guys with "peaceful" pairs if they've gone through a few females to get to that point... Really not an easy species to pair well, but not unheard of.

LOL, what a crazy analogy, and thanks, a lot of people dont know what it is

LOL.. Can you give me a opinion in English lol

That's a lot of people to ask i was hoping someone with a pair could tell me.. And they would become a pair out of the original 1.5" group. So i think that if they were a bonded pair from that it would help a lot, compared to trying to introduce big ones a male or female already at sex maturity.

It's always easier and safer imo to try and bond a pair out of a group of grows outs. They're young so even if it doesn't work out, the damage they dish to each other is manageable. In the case of mature adults, unless you're always there watching, you might wake up to one having been killed by the other. To be fair to both sides, grow out groups take a lot of time. If some kind of accident occurs in-between, it could void your time and efforts. Depends how badly/quickly you want that pair.

and some comes over to your house and nip on your behind...okay that's carrying things a bit too far...
