I agree also fry to 1.5" is about 6 mo. and the F's breed at 4-5" inches. I've had 3 broods from 2 different F's same male over the past year. Seems like spring time is spawning time for my Festae...........the problems here arised after the fry were free swimmers for about 2 months @ that point he went psycho killed 1 F beat the snot outta the other........I removed him for a few months - til I could get the fry out - now he's back with her and all is well so far been 2 months or so they've been back togather.............keep an eye on the male aggression after the fry are free swimmers - might need a divider if you have no other free tanks.
