I assume you are being factious about the duckweed but just in case you're not
Before you add any, this what I take out every other day.

I spend about 20 minutes skimming the surface of my tanks, because it blocks out so much light I can barely see the fish, and it slows the submerged plant grow, it also hold surface tension blocking oxygen exchange and allows algae to grow on the surface.
I'd send you some myself, but you'd hate me in the morning.

also anyone with duckweed that they dont want?

I've used both black and natural and colors are much brighter over a lighter substrate IME. Not too bright lighting either. My female darkened alot over black substrate

this is her over light sand with ABOUT 3/4 watt per gallon
