Festae fry are here!

No. Nothing was cleaned before going into the new tank. I took filter media out of an old hob filter of an established tank to put in my new. There is one tiny firemouth in the new tank he's doing just fine, though. He was kind of my test fish, should I go ahead and put the festae fry in their new home?
 
at what temperature is it acceptable for these bacterium to grow? im using a crappy heater atm and can only top out at 77ish degrees..im getting a better heater today right after work to bump it up to 80-83
 
Seventy-seven is fine. As far as I know different species of bacteria will serve the same function down to and below freezing. Cold water species have the nitrogen cycle too...
