From your 2nd set of pics, I see the appearance of dark color in the dorsal suggesting female.
But I doubt that it will show true colors in a light blue tank.
Those kinds of surroundings will tend to wash out any real colors, now if that is a temporary quarantine no big deal, but if you want it to look natural, it needs a darker floor and back, and lots of cover to give security.
 
That eas a pic from the store. Eerything was definitely male. She is now home and definitely coloring up

See this is why it's so confusing to sex festae cichlids, this one has the black dorsal with Spangling on the fins , wtf
