There are vendors here in Florida that can provide you with legitimate Festae. Take back the Mayan and use that money to go toward getting you a few Festae growouts from a vendor. I was duped when I first started looking for Festae a few years ago. I trusted a few lfs to get them and I always got Mayans instead. I had to buy my first Festae growouts from a member. Live and learn. In the meantime, read as many threads on Festae as you can so that you will know exactly what to look for. No matter how it colors up, it's not going to be a Festae. Guaranteed.How long have you had this fish. If you just got him I would wait until he colors up better.
