Festae look like they might breed

Sorry for the delay I missed or thought this post had dried up we got our festae from a fellow in Calgary I have no idea where he got them. My wife and I noticed the odd shaped face on the male.Thanks again for info and working with the fry ours still have'nt spawned but are defiately favoring a couple of spots.

The mouths and faces of your Festae look very peculiar, where'd you get them?

The males face looks deformed.

I just about bought this pair but passed as the largest tank I could have opened up for them was a 125, which I didn't feel was adequate when they fully matured. To be honest after seeing the shape of the males snout, I'm glad that I didn't waste a trip to Calgary. I had asked for photos up front, and the seller didn't/wouldn't provide any. Maybe now I know why. Seller told me they were F1 & came from Spencer Jack in MB.
Who knows.
