Yeah, he was a bit thin when we first got him and he had just gone through a pretty heavy dose of parasite meds. He's filling out slowly, but he's still a little sunken in at certain angles.

He is Gorgeous!!!! You said outgoing and personable? How was he at 4 inch? I have never owned such skittish fish in my life!!!. The pair I have hid since I have got them almost two months ago, they don't even eat.

Thanks. He was full grown when we got him, but my female was skittish up till around 5-6" and then things changed dramatically. Then they started spawning and it changed some more lol.

Patience is a virtue with these guys.

Wow, he has come a LONG way!
I will have to dig up some pics of when I first "rescued" him so you all can see how great JC has done with this guy. It just makes my night to see him now.

Thanks brotha! He's definitely been doing well in the big tank it seems. Still a ill thin, but his colors are a pretty good indicator things are looking good. That and the constant spawning lol

Love to see pics from when you first got him. This is one of my first pics the day he was added....
