Festae or Mayan?

Hard to tell but I’m guessing Mayan. I think the spot at the tail fin on a Red Terror is -all the way above the lateral line. Either way that tail spot has something to do with it, I would double check me though, I could have them mixed up.
 
I vote mayan, and had the same situation with a mislabeled fish a few years back. This image gives a good visual of the differences between the two.

Ahhh that's really upsetting lol.. I've been looking for a red terror for a while. Color difference is staggering lol. Oh well it will still have a good home

I felt the same way. Your best bet for a quality festae would be a fellow MFK member from your area or Rapps at tangledupincichlids.com. Jeff Rapps is located in New Jersey so shipping should not be bad.
