No it doesn't. Mayans have spots on the tail that are more centered. The male has a raised/upper spot on the tail. You need to do some research on properly identifying festae and urophthalmus. Both fish are clearly festae.

IMO (being a owner of a pair), that doesnt look like a male. Can we see another picture of your male festae?

Yes, with the picture provided it was difficult to tell. It also looks like its a Mayan male and a Festae female.

If you are 100% positive that people are selling wrong fish, definitely point it out.
