Festae Pair

If shes hanging out in the corner it sounds like he has been bothering her, and not in a sexy kinda way. Id keep that divider in for a while and keep their non divider visits short, if at all, for now. They still have lots of time to grow, and to grow used to each other, just be patient.
 
hey everyone, just and update. I have had the divider in for a little while now and they seem to be doing well. The male still charges a little bit when she comes near his side but she is becoming more and more stubborn with him. Not running from the divider when he comes close, not always hiding, etc. I have a little male dovii in their on her side and she bosses him around which i really don't mind because i know the dovii can handle it just fine and it gives her a chance to be dominant. She shows bars rarely but barely any reds. the male is starting to speckle up quite nicely though. One thing i think is interesting is that even though she has been bullied by him when they are together, when the divider is in the tank, the main goal of hers is to get to him. She is always trying to get through the hole that I sealed in the divider and always trying to get to him. She wants to be with him more than he wants to be with her. Kinda funny! sorry for making it so long but it is what it is.

oh and outlaw15w outlaw15w I didn't get the festae from sandy. I got my wild caught male from my LFS and the f2 female from billy in florida at Cichlid express! I have to recommend these guys,they were so helpful and so nice. She came on time and packed fantastically. Absolutely no complaints
