jason that is sick! so stoked for you bro! inspired me as well short story. as you know i lost my wc female last week. bummers but i have 5 growouts left from her i luckily kept. i just picked up a 150 gal for the other wall in my living room. its cycled filtratin running everything is set up and all 5 are in there and seem to be aclimated. i plan on picking up 5 more of umbeekings offspring. my f1s with his growouts i should end up with a nice pair. even though miles apart im glad your part of our fish community. stuff like this helps the loss of my fav fish and inspires me to start up something new and exciting. i wanted to personaly thank you and congradulate you on your awsome pair! RAD!!!!! Ill take a picture of the 150 i just set up for them and post it in a few.

Thank you very much I really appreciate it Bubba:) im really sorry for your loss too. I have also found it helpful to grow out babies to help me get over lost fish. In fact this whole festae program that i have been doing is for that exact reason. Last year right after my pair spawned i had them sold and shipped them off. unfortunately the box was lost in the male for a couple days and the male died:( but at least the female made it and is still alive and in the hobby somewhere. But that was the first batch of fry that i raised from eggs without the parents and i had a high survival rate:headbang2 That really helped me get over my loss. I made sure to spread the last of their genetics around the hobby and sold a few to some members and friends and sold the most to Ira which he did a great job spreading around and growing out a very nice group himself. I wish you the best with your new project and i will be watching your posts to see how it turns out:) you have a nice tank and a great set up for your growouts. keep your head up:)

Thank you Ira, i am happy i picked up that group from Dan, they turned out very nice. and so far its up in the air with my F1 male and other female lol

Thank you, i just picked up a group from Umbeeking and im trying to get some from another friend so ill be able to do this all over agian:) even as slow as festae are to grow out, i really love doing it and its so rewarding in the end.

Nice jason really like how you started with 12 and ended up with a pair, i admire those skills :clap . Really like the colors on that female. Hopefully they get to work for you pretty soon. GL dude
