Nimbochromis Polystigma is an african rift lake hap not a Bichir

so you read through the thread and all you have to contribute is an incorrect assumption and comment? I dont see anywhere where someone said the Polystigma was a bichir:screwy:

OP, try some aggressive CA's bigger than your festae or silver dollars, flagtails or a bunch of other dithers.

So no problems with the little bit of hijacking

I found out that all I needed to do was just put up a mirror on the opposite side of where the poly likes to hangout whenever the festae gets to be too big of a bully. The festae is too occupied with looking at herself she forgets about the poly altogether

Hows that go "some people have what? the answers to everything or somthing really stupid to say or somthing like that" ????

I usually don't dignify stupidity or arrogance with a response but lately I just can' t help it - Polypeterus Senegalus is a Bichir. Guess you were too busy trying to be a tough guy behind a computer to read about Danger_Chickens Bichir/Festae experience.

Trying to be a tough guy?

I LOVE to point out stupidity AND arrogance with a response, so here ya go...

Since you obviously cant read properly, judging from the comments in your post, Ill help you and post what my signature says right here in big letters:

Some people have the answer to everything and the solution to nothing. ironic the timing of the signature in this post huh?

there, can you see that better?:screwy:

Now, back to the original point. NOWHERE in this thread does someone think that a Polystigma is a Polypeterus. If you passed 10th grade English, youd easily comprehend that Danger_Chicken was merely talking about his bichir amongst other fish in his tank, not being confused thinking a Polystigma is a Polypeterus. Because someone speaks of a certain fish with the same prefix as another doesnt mean they are confused about the 2 or think they are talking about the same thing, thats why we have suffixes and common names...you following me camera guy?

I just think its funny that you come on a thread and post something irrelevant to the thread topic, thinking that you are correcting a mistake that never happened.:ROFL: fail

My festae (which is still only about four inches) went through a phase where it was beating on my pleco then it just stopped within the past month or so. It will still nip on occasion, but the pleco looks a lot better.

And mine lives with a much larger polleni.
