Festae peeling?

Possily but ich will darken it due to stress yours looks bleached. When my firemouths got ich (the only fish ive had that got ich)they never lost thier naterul colors .

Yea It's the tank something with my quarantine tank just fish don't like it maybe the light? I have pfs in the tank just the filter is too strong and pushes it around. I had ich before nad never lost any color just wasn't ruling it out.

Try adding a little bit of sand or gravel

Hey he still seems to have some black on him with no more Michael or any disease still have no idea? Could it be peeling to finally become a colorful festered? Its been almost 10months nnow and only his fins are red and he's only maybe pushing 4.5" while the other Is maybe 3"
