Hi everyone. I am looking into buying a 6 inch female festae, but the price is $100. I think that this is a little high for such a fish. What would be a reasonable price for the festae?

That's way high! In fact that's a RIPOFF! I'd wouldn't give more than $25-$35. Let me sell one of mine for $90, I'll save you $10 lol.
i just paid 35 for a male festea and i have been looking for awile for one of those nice females and i sure cant find one so i to me if i seen the fish and its as pretty as some of the female festae ive seen in pictures then its worth it. if its a good deal to you then its a good deal period. if i can find one that looks like this then i pay a pretty good price for it.
$100.00 is pretty steep. It all depends on how badly you want it as to whether you pay this much. The thing is people know it takes approximately 12 months for a festae to reach this size and are kind of hard to come by at that size. Therefore they charge what they like. If people want it bad enough they will pay the money.

Depends on the market in Connecticut (where this dude is from). The fish is worth what someone will pay for it. If he's the only guy in town with festae then you have 2 choices: pay the $100 for a fish you can see or pay shipping for a fish you can't.

IMHO, thats high, but alas...Im the same guy who crys for Cubans, but because of my high horse I will not pay the guy who has em (Just Guess Who).
So it is worth whatever you feel you need to do to aquire what you want.....
