What do you all put with your festae as far as stock with them?

Mine are sharing space with beani. They are still small but no real problems.
 
Well I have a 7" female and a 5" with a 7-8" black belt and I had a 7-8" Midas but he wasn't working. Been 3 days since he was gone. Niw the larger female is attacking the smaller one? Anyone know why? I just don't know what else I can put or take out to make it all work. I don't want to have just one female in a 220 that's pretty lame.

IME, females hate each other. Probably a competition thing. Anytime I've tried putting females together after 4 inches or so, it hasn't worked out well.

Well it was working fine when the Midas was in there.now that he's gone the larger one is taking over

Was midas male or female? Blackbelt sex? It's crazy, sometimes removing one fish throws the balance of the whole tank off. If midas was running the show, might be a powerplay be bigger festae for dominance.

Unsure about the Midas sex but he was a real terror. He was confine the black belt to 10 gallons of space and would t let him eat

Yeah I'm just trying to find something that works for everyone. But, may just have to get rid of the smaller one to my friend. The big one is just too pretty.
