wow is that a wild pair nice

Nice video, I must have missed this while on vacation. However, I can see the female is looking alittle ragged. Those babies are still nibbling on her I am sure. If you haven't already, it is time to remove them from mom. I know my Midas fry have done it to their parents in the past as well. Doesn't matter how much you feed them, they will still continue to try and feed on their slime coat as they do when they are small fry. And with that swarm, she doesn't stand a chance.

Only the male.

The raggedness actually came from the male. He broke through the divider and almost killed her, I heard all kinds of racket coming form that room and found her on her side with patches of bare flesh. I didn't think she'd make it, I resecured the divider and put a towel over her side of the tank for a week with some melafix and then gave the male back to his owner. She was healing up nicely by this video. About 2 weeks after this video I noticed her getting aggressive with the fry so I pulled her. I guess they were chewing on her, I was worried she'd start chewing on them.

i jus see dollar signs swimmin around lol
