P/U / meetup in DC/MD/VA area. I can drive out to meet up if not too far from most places in the area. Just shoot me a PM if interested! I'm also open to trades, so please message me if you have anything in mind.

Up for sale is a m/f combo of a Festae x RTM cross. I put "pair" in quotes due to the fact that they've laid eggs/spawned at least a dozen times without any success. The eggs have never made it past 4-5 days without being eaten, either by the female or the several plecos and cats in the tank with them. I don't know whether the pair is fertile, so I don't want to label them as an actual proven breeding pair. I will say the eggs are an amber color and never showed as white.

That being said, if you aren't against hybrids in general, these are very outgoing fish - a noticeable difference in behavior as compared to a festae. They'll engage you when walking by the tank, the male almost always flaring and head shaking. They constantly bicker, but without any real damage. It's fun to watch them battle, especially knowing it won't go too far.

The male is in the 7-8" range, female slightly smaller, probably 6.5-7".

You need five post in the open forum to ensure that you're not a spammer or an unregistered vendor before you're able to use all of the site's features. This appears to be your only post so far, so as far as the software is considered, you're brand new.

I think I've got enough posts made but still don't see how to msg yet. Really interested in setting up a time to get these fish with this member.
