I've had them for just about 2 years - since Feb '18. They're good together in a 6 foot tank and some hiding places for the female. Normal cichlid bickering and lip locking when they're spawning, but otherwise they're good together. I've never had more than some sore lip areas from them, no torn fins or anything over that time.
I'm willing to meet up if you're not too far away, but otherwise I'm not able to ship them out or take remote payment. Let me know if that works for you. I believe once you get 5 posts (in a subforum outside of the marketplace) then you can private message me directly instead. That may be easiest.
That would work. I have sand in there now but they’ve had gravel previously. I think they’d be fine with either setup, so whichever one you prefer.
