festae.

IME only the dominant female really colors up and the others submit by being drab. My female killed her 5 brothers and sisters I got from Rapps at the same time. She then killed several males I tried to pair her with before I found a suitable mate she would accept. She hates other Festae but totally ignores most other cichlids and other fish.

gutloaded with proper foods and quarentined?

theres mostly proteins, so after quarentine (youd have to breed your own guppies to get fry anyways) and a good diet i dont see how they would be harmful. but to each his own i suppose.
Doesnt matter anyway, its illegal in the UK to use feeder fish.
you could get some small earthworms, they make my jags and festae look stunning:headbang2
hikari cichlid gold is good too

care to explain the difference and your meaning behind "aint good"
aint good=doesnt do them any favors... or doesnt help them in any way.

harmful=it will harm them when they eat it...?

haha use all the africans you want, they'll still be hundreds.
convicts are cool cichlids IMO they still have good colour and patterns.

Yeah its illegal, havent you noticed only crickets are the only live food around, no mice and rats, just frozen

fish would be packed with protein, as well as fats and other essentials.
If were talking nutritional content, better stop feeding bloodworms too.

your saying a predatory fish in the wild that mostly eats other fish is getting nothing?
FFS... dont go there... CBA:screwy:
