sorry to tell ya, you were fooled, these are uro or mayan cichlids (2 diff nicknames) some people call them the fake festae.
you can tell the difference because the occeli (dot on tail) is larger and more centred, on festae its smaller and closer to top of tail arm.

either way. im not planning on keeping them. theyre taking up space in my community tank. any idea how much these go for?
if i cant get rid of them, ill just put them in a tank with one of my larger jaguars, and let nature take its course

for getting called fake festaes they look like really stunning fish. its bad a mistake happened but at least you still get pretty fish. good one.
