Bluegrass says they are about 1" is that expensive for the size? Are you even able to tell they are festae at that size?

Ive been looking for a couple month now and can not find any. Kinda lame Ive set up a 210 with hopes of keeping a breeding pair.

not that rare were im from (north east of england) dont get me wrong there far from common but ive seen true festae 2-3 times this year in dunston aquatics (near the metrocentre), but they are very very expensive all three times they were 30 pounds each or 4 for 100 pounds (100 pounds is around 150 bucks!!!) and in all three batch's the fish were 1" at most, dunston aquatics also had a breeding pair around the start of summer this year the male and female were around 5-6" they were 200 pounds for the pair, and they sold within 3 hours of going on sale for 275 pound because there was 2 dudes bidding against each other for them lol

I guess it depends on how you look at it. If you really want them badly and they are not readily available, then its not too bad of a price. I priced them out from there and it 6 for $124 shipped second day. So about $20 each. I already have a male and female not a pair however. I believe the female is a bit special. Doesnt swim, just lays there or somewhat swims only on the bottom. Shes in her own tank. When I tried to put them together he would peck at her eye and she didnt know to move away. Im convinced she a tard.
